About
Work I’m happy with #
A Takeda platform built from scratch on a single codebase that runs 30+ sites. A site sync process with the SSP portal for Bayer’s Drupal distribution, covering 100+ sites (3 environments each, 300+ in total) at 99.5% reliability. I’ve also taken sites through Drupal upgrades from 4.7 to 5, 7 to 9, and 9 to 10.
Open source #
Open source is where I started and where I still spend time. I began with the OpenSUSE and Mono projects, and I’ve been contributing to Drupal since 2007. Today I maintain Read Only Mode, Previewable Email Templates and several UI Suite modules, which add up to 5,000+ active installs.
I’ve spoken at Drupal Camp Poland, Drupal Camp Pune and Gnunify, most recently at Drupal Camp Poland on 12 September 2026 with “Drupal, unlimited possibilities”. I’ve also helped organise Drupal Camp Pune and run a “Drupal in a Day” workshop for students and early-career developers.
What I’m learning right now #
I finished the Masterschool Cloud Engineering programme in Berlin (May 2026) and passed the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam in April 2026. The AWS Solutions Architect Associate is next. On the side, I’m building:
- Mansooba, an open source, Jira-like project manager in Go and Nuxt. I act as the architect and use Claude Code as a coding assistant.
- Folio, a markdown blog app built with Nuxt.
- German Verb Helper, an Android app (Flutter) that uses Gemma 3 to explain German verbs. Still a private learning project.
I’m also learning German (B1, working towards B2) and writing up what I learn in German Notes.
